Panhandle Oil and Gas (formerly Panhandle Royalty) owns mineral interests, both working and royalty, in oil- and gas-producing properties in 10 states. The company does not operate any of its own wells but instead maintains them through partnerships with other oil and gas companies. Its major properties are located primarily in Oklahoma (44% of its net land holdings in fiscal 2013 of 255,300 acres). In fiscal 2013 Panhandle Oil and Gas reported proved reserves of 151.8 billion cu. ft. of natural gas equivalent.
